Koenigsegg Gemera : The Revolutionary Hypercar We need!
Since the company was founded in 1994, CEO, Christian Von Koenigsegg has been pushing the bounds of engineering by getting as much power as possible from an engine and the Gemera is no newbie with this treatment!
If its astronomical power figures don’t wow you, then the fact that it’s a 4 seater coupe should. Yes, hurling yourself at 300kph on the autobahn shouldn’t be a lonely endeavor with the Gemera…now your friends can come along too!
Let’s talk about figures first! This sleek, low slung hybrid Swedish monster produces around 1700hp from its combination of electric motors putting out 1100hp and a 2.0L 3 cylinder engine that produces 600hp, the same engine used in the Toyota Yaris GRMn…cute
Figures like that only suggest engineering witchcraft and we’re not surprised. This is the same company that derived 1500hp from a 5.5L V8 in the Agera RS.
In a world where hypercars were already getting boring with over the top styling and time-traveling 0 to 60 speeds, the Gemera is a major refresh, as well as a game-changer with responsible styling but mental numbers.
Remember, this car is no different from your average Prius…though this will definitely turn some heads in several directions.
The Future of hypercars comes with great gas mileage too.
