It is no longer news that major roads in Lagos have been brought to a halt due to the ongoing barricade. The third mainland bridge which is one of the most important roads in Lagos, connecting the Lagos island to the mainland is no exception as the road is blocked also, bringing the city to a halt.

People going and coming back from work and others who have businesses at both ends have complained bitterly about the halt. Let’s not forget the inpatient drivers of the molue and Lagos state yellow buses who would want to maneuver their way on the third mainland bridge and end up causing dents on people’s cars (no be today!).

Lagos state yellow buses

We really do hope to get a better result on the third mainland bridge this coming week but… it is Lagos freaking state, nothing really changes and not especially the traffic jam.
