What You Need To Know About Davido’s Lamborghini Huracan.
Davido is trending right now, not because of his latest single titled ‘FEM‘, but for the newest addition to his growing car collection. A Rosso Mars (color) Lamborghini Huracan which came in on the 29th of September…Independence day gift?
While everyone knows Davido as an awesome music artist, not everyone knows him to be a car enthusiast…yes, Davido loves his cars.
His growing car collection also includes a Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes Benz GLE 450 coupe, Range Rover Vogue Autobiography, and a customized Mercedes Benz Sprinter.
Here are some things you should know about Davido’s new Lamborghini Huracan;
Big Mechanical Numbers
The Lamborghini Huracan uses a naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 that produces about 575hp. And unlike most mid-engined supercars, its All Wheel Drive…which means better handling and stability.
The Huracan has a hydraulic lift system that can lift the car up by 6.8 inches, a much-needed feature if you live in a city like Lagos with those unnecessarily high-speed bumps.
It Has An Audi Cousin
For the real car enthusiasts here, this might not be a big surprise but the Lamborghini Huracan shares a lot of its mechanical features with the Audi R8.
Duhh! Audi owns Lamborghini.
Better Than Carbon Fibre?
Compared to other cars that make use of carbon fiber, the Lamborghini Huracan makes use of forged composites. This came about as a partnership between Lamborghini and Callaway golf.
This material is a strong and unique one and is used in some critical areas of the car. For now, only Lamborghini makes use of Forged composites.
Used By The Law
A specially made Lamborghini Huracan is also used by the Italian police force, it has with a gun rack and a front compartment equipped with a small fridge which is used to store organs heading to the hospitals for transplant.
The guys in the UAE also have a Huracan in their exotic police pursuit garage.
The Huracan Performante
As if the Huracan wasn’t beastly enough, Lamborghini unleashed an unhinged 631hp version of the Huracan which went on to set a new Nurburgring production car lap time at 6:52.01!
To put this into context, the average sports car goes around the Nurburgring in about 8 minutes!
We can’t wait to see Davido driving the Huracan through Gregory road blasting ‘FEM’
